About Funny Day Cards

Funny Day Cards makes funny greeting cards you print yourself. There are two ways in: the card generator, where you put their name and your own words on one of six designs, and ready-made printable cards sorted by occasion. Both end the same way: a free PDF, your printer, two folds.

Who runs it

Beau Branton runs the site and decides what goes on a card. Beau Branton is a data analyst and founder who runs Funny Day Cards. He decides which jokes go on a card and signs off on every one before it prints. He studied at Stanford University and played professional baseball in the Seattle Mariners organization.

How a joke becomes a card

Each ready-made card starts as a short list of options for the front and the inside. Beau Branton picks the one worth printing, edits the wording, and approves it. Only approved copy is published, and an occasion page stays out of search results until its whole set has been approved. The full process, including how we use AI tools, is in the editorial policy.

How the cards are made

The designs are drawn in code from type and simple shapes, built to print cleanly on a home inkjet or laser printer on white paper. Every PDF is US Letter. The quarter-fold prints on one side and folds into a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card; the 5 x 7 version prints on both sides and needs one cut.

What happens to what you type

Nothing leaves your device. The generator builds the preview and the PDF in your browser, so names and messages are never uploaded to or stored by this site. There is no account to make and no email to give.

How the site makes money

It does not, yet. Every card is free, with no ads and no affiliate links. If that changes, for example with paid card packs, this page will say so first.
